FortiFerrum®+ is a supplement of liposomal iron of high absorption, which is indicated for the deficiency states and increased needs of this mineral, as well for affections that can cause iron-deficiency anemia or other pathologies associated with iron deficiency.

The liposomal iron contained in FortiFerrum®+ gives it a high stability which allows passing through the acidic gastric barrier and reach the small intestine where will be absorbed, which prevents the appearance of the classic side effects observed with conventional irons intake.

FortiFerrum®+ is indicated for the deficiency states and increased needs of this mineral as it happens during the pregnancy and the lactation, as well for affections that can cause iron-deficiency anemia or other pathologies associated with iron deficiency.

Due the characteristics and advantages of FortiFerrum®+ in the prevention and treatment of iron deficiency disorders, the target groups to use this product are the following:

Children over 3 years old = Take 1 sachet per day (WHO Recommendations – 14-28mg of iron supplement daily)
Adolescents and adults = Take 1 or 2 sachets per day (WHO Recommendations – 30-45mg of iron supplement daily)
Pregnant woman * (WHO Recommendations = 30-60mg of iron daily + Folic acid)
* Pregnant women should follow medical advice
